Eason Chan & Mr. Ng
Description:  This was supposedly the Hong Kong Opening Theme for Ultraman Gaia TV Series. Originally planned a duet for Eason & Nicolas Tse, but obviously at the time the record companies wouldn't let this happen. So the duet went to a previous winner of the singing contest. But why wasn't this used? Well, Eason changed companies at the time, and TVB had delayed the TV airing of the series, so by the time it was aired, Eason would not be able to do any promotions for it at all. So the whole song was dropped, and in the end, Edison got the job but sang a completely different tune. So this remained unused/unreleased.
這本來是"超人佳亞"的香港版主題曲。最初原定計劃是陳奕迅和謝霆鋒合唱, 但華星 當然不會讓步, 結果合唱對象變成往年的新秀冠軍吳啟超。可惜當時無線把佳亞延 期播放, 而 Eason 又剛巧轉唱片公司... 在總總理由下變成未有出版過! 結果是陳 冠希得到了主唱佳亞的主題曲, 不過是另一首!

Theme Song 1993
Description: An unreleased song by the SoftHard.   But in fact even if they didn't split, this song might still not be released. The song was actually recorded back in 1993 right after the "Fans" album, and it was actually a commercial theme song to the Summer "Teens" campaign of McDonald's. There were plans to include the song on the "Mini SoftHard" 6 CDsingle Boxset, but in the end, they banned the idea as they think the song didn't fit in too well, and it wasn't their "best" to be released on any album. Now that they have split, these unreleased songs or radio jingles/promos are becoming really rare!
軟硬未有發行的歌曲﹗ 其實就算他們沒有拆夥﹐這歌也未必會發行。 其實這是早在一九九三年「廣播道Fan屎殺人事件」後﹐ 為麥當勞 暑假的 「好係我Teen氣報告」而錄的廣告歌﹐原先亦有計劃在 「小軟硬」那六隻細碟中推出。但他們卻覺得始終有點兒不夾﹐ 或未能做到最好﹐而決定放棄推出﹐祗留在電台宣傳用。如今軟硬已 拆夥﹐他們這些未有發行的歌曲或電台錄音﹐更是難得一聽﹗﹗

Description: In the Jan Lamb and Anthony Wong "Music Is Live" Concert in March1998, there was a short opening film directed by Eric Kot, which was shown just before the show starts. This is the music used in that soundtrack, sung by Jan, made by C.Y.Kong with Davy Chan (Anodize/LMF) on drums, Joey Tang on guitars.

1992 CR2 DJs 92創作人音樂會填詞人 Medley
Description:  Every year, Commercial Radio salutes all the composers and lyricists in their Creative Concert. In some recent years, they used to do a medley of  1 song from each lyricist, as a year round-up kind of thing. The medley would then be sung & performed by their own DJs on stage, as a promotion & exposure of  their DJs as well. This medley is from the 1992 concert,  not only featuring SoftHard, Wyman or Nancy, there were also people like Wong Hei, Wallace Kwok, and Wong Chi-Chung who were all then CR2 DJs. There probably won't be another chance that all these people would sing together again!! (1992)
商台每年的創作人音樂會﹐也會向不同的作曲填詞人作致敬。 以往也喜歡將每年填詞人的作品串連成Medley﹐由他們自己的 DJ們 唱出。這便是92年的填詞人 Medley﹐除了有 軟硬﹐黃偉文﹐蘭茜等 之外﹐還有當時仍在商台做 DJ 的王喜﹐郭啟華﹐黃志淙等等開腔 唱歌﹗ 要這一班人再次走埋一齊合唱﹐相信也很難了...

Description:  A rare collaboration of the 3 queens!! This studio version was NEVER RELEASED. It is a studio version that was used for a live performance for the Hunger30 Charity Show at the Hong Kong Coliseum back in Spring 1993.
This unreleased version was the original studio mix which they used for the show - they did not sing "live", the "MMM" was used so that they could concentrate more on their dancing (since there wasn't really enough time for rehearsals)...(1993)

Full Un-Edited Studio Version
Description:  Back in the Re-opening Concert of the Hong Kong Stadium in 1994, Sandy performed a 9 & 1/2 minute Medley of all her previous hits. Since TVB only allowed Sandy to perform under 10 minutes, the original studio version (11 mins long!!) made for this, was cut down. Songs were cut out or edited, to make it fit the time limit. This version here is the ORIGINAL FULL LENGTH 11 MINUTE STUDIO VERSION, which of course is not dubbed from the video of the TV performance! This is the real thing!! (1994)
一九九四年香港政府大球場重開時的大型音樂會中﹐
憶蓮唱了一隻九分半鐘一口氣將以往的歌 Mix 埋的 Medley, 但其實此 Medley 是由一隻原本長達十一分鐘的錄音室版半剪輯而成﹐ 因為 TVB 祗容許憶蓮表演九分半鐘。結果一些地方被剪短了﹐ 部份歌曲如「太陽傘下」亦被 Cut 了。這個便是原庄十一分鐘 的錄音室版半﹐ 絕不是由錄影帶上 Dub 出來的!!

Description:  Stephanie's 2nd plug song after she returned to Hong Kong in 1996. The original did get a lot of airplay & attention, and a lot of people liked it. But due to the policy of the record company & production house, she was not able to release the album soon after the chart success... In the end the album was released sometimes in 1997, but after such a long time, many people didn't bother with it. Well here it is for those who missed this! (1996)
車沅沅一九九六年回流香港的第二首派台歌。當時電台的播放率
也算不錯﹐很多人也喜歡。但因為製作公司和唱片公司的方針﹐ 她未有即時發行大碟。結果大碟在一九九七年中才發行﹐但可能 時間相隔太遠﹐很多人卻因此而錯過了。放在這裏好讓大家可以重溫。

車沅沅 Stephanie Che 最好不過
Description:  This was actually the very first plugged song for Stephanie when she returned to Hong Kong in 1996, composed by guitarist Adrian Chan. The music, lyrics & arrangement were not bad at all in creating a certain style & atmosphere, but DJs were not quite accepting this as Stephanie's style until the second plug song. in the end the song was not released! So for those who haven't heard this or missed this out, you can listen to it here!! (1994)
車沅沅一九九六年回流香港的第一首派台歌﹐由結他手文仔 Adrian Chan作曲。其實這歌無論曲 / 詞 / 編 的氣氛也相當不俗﹐ 但當時未有即時被 DJ 們接受﹐要直至“其實你可以”他們才認定 這是沅沅的唱腔和風格。同樣地﹐ 這歌亦未有即時發行﹐直至差不多 一年後的大碟中結果也找不到!! 錯過了的朋友﹐可以在這裏重溫了。

Description: This is Joey Tang's first solo single, after Taichi's split. His solo album, which was recorded in London, also features a few UK musicians. Like with this song, it was arranged and played with Kevin Armstrong (who used to be David Bowie's guitarist, who also played with Bowie in the LiveAid concert). Although this is a radio edit version, it also has a special introduction that Joey has added, in which he also sang a few lines from the Taichi song "Crystal"...(1998)

鄧建明 離開太極後作個人發展的首隻派台作品﹐當然由他自己作曲。 Joey 這次的首張個人大碟﹐更遠赴英國倫敦錄音﹐「 一千個吻」便 是與以前和 David Bowie 合作的結他手 Kevin Armstrong 合作編曲﹐ (Kevin 便是當年在 LiveAid 中幫 Bowie 彈奏的結他手) 。 這個派台版本雖然是 Edit 過的短版﹐但 Joey 卻特別加了一段小獨白 序曲﹐還唱了兩句 Crystal !!!

黃子華 Wong Chi-Wah 跟住去邊度
Description:  Mr. Wong's only song to date!! As we all know he's brilliant in his talk shows, and it was back in the shows in 1995 where you can hear this song during the intermission. It was his first attempt in doing a rap song, and also writing the lyric. The song was not released, although ATV made an MTV for him during the time, when they broadcasted his shows!! (1995)
黃子華至今唯一歌曲﹗在他一九九五年的棟篤笑中場休息時間當中﹐ 你可能聽過呢首歌﹐可能說是那次棟篤笑的主題曲 。這是子華首次嘗試 Rap 和填詞。歌曲並未有出版過﹐但亞視曾經拍攝過音樂錄影帶﹐ 在他們那段轉播棟篤笑的期間曾經播放過。

Description:  This actually should be in our "Live" section, cos it was recorded live during the rehearsals to the 1992 LSE Variety Show in London University. This was the section where Mark and CY performed a cover version of PetShopBoys' "So Hard", with Mark on vocals. In this rehearsal, Karen joined in during the chorus part singing backup vocals. Some British university students heard the music while walking pass the rehearsal hall and thought it was the PetShopBoys!! So in the end they were also called the "Pet Shop Chinks" !! (1992)
其實這應該是在我們的 Live 那一版出現﹐ 因為這也是一個現場版﹐ 不過祗是在排練時的演出。一九九二年倫敦大學的「V-Show」內﹐ 雷頌德和 C.Y.Kong 演唱了 PetShopBoys 的一曲「So Hard」﹐ 由 Mark 主唱。在這排練時﹐莫文蔚也加入唱了副歌的和聲部份。 一些倫敦大學的鬼仔學生在附近聽到了﹐還以為是 PetShopBoys 來了表演 ! 所以之後更有人叫他們做 「Pet Shop Chinks」﹗

1996 達明 Tribute Concert 用
Description:  In 1996, in the tribute concert to the 10 year anniversary of the TatMing Pair, Mark Liu & C.Y.Kong also had a re-union performing this song live. However this tribute version was never recorded in the studio nor released at all. It was basically just an instrumental version that they did to use as sequence backing during the show, when play live guitars / keyboards & singing on top. Although this is just an instrumental, it can also be enjoyed just like any remixes!! (1996)
在一九九六年達明一派十週年「我們都唱達明一派」音樂會當中﹐雷頌德 和 C.Y.Kong 亦再次合作﹐演唱了這首「崩裂」。但是這個版本卻從未有 發行。其實當時這個版本並沒有在錄音室錄音﹐祗是做了這個音樂版本﹐ 在演出當晚作伴奏 sequence backing 用﹐而他們則現場演唱和彈奏結他 和鍵琴部份。雖然這個祗是音樂版﹐但也可以當作一個 Remix版本來聽﹗

陳碧清 Nancy Chan Boy Meets Girl (廣東版)
Description:  Maybe you don't know who Nancy Chan is. She is actually a Chorus Backing Singer in Hong Kong, and also a teacher of ETV !! So why, you may ask, is she singing Cantonese versions of TRF's greatest hits?? This was actually recorded for promotion of an Asian Singing Contest hosted by the record company. In fact there were also Taiwan versions and so on. This is the version done for Hong Kong. Now you can sing along in Cantonese! : )
誰是陳碧清? 她是香港的一個和音歌手, 亦是教育電視的一位老師 !! 唱TRF ? 廣東版?? 其實這是唱片公司為一個東南亞的歌唱比賽宣傳而做 的版本, 同樣亦有台灣版. 這是香港的版本, 終於可以用廣東跟住唱啦!!

Description:  This was a 1993 re-made version of the classic song, now re-sung by Jacky and Anita. This was done for the movie, but due to their contracts, they cannot release the song nor even play it on radio! So it actually ended up as a not-known-at-all background song in the movie.
仙鶴神針一九九三年版﹐由張學友 梅艷芳為電影而合唱。 不過因為合約問題﹐結果是不能出版亦不能在電台播放﹐ 祗有在電影中出現過﹐所以便成為不為人知的張學友 梅艷芳合唱歌。
